The torch is symbolic of an effective counseling relationship. A torch helps to light and guide a path and allows pathfinders to see their way through the darkness. It is a symbol of hope, strength, freedom, and movement toward a goal. The torchbearer plays a supportive role by guiding or inspiring one through their journey. At the beginning of our journey, I will light the way for you. By the end, you will have a new understanding of your inner strengths and the liberty to move forward in life and in the light.
